“To me, there’s no great chef without a great team.” – Daniel Boulud

Eating is not merely a material pleasure. Eating well gives a spectacular joy to life and contributes immensely to goodwill. A delicious and fulfilling dish could lighten up even the darkest day. So, it is impossible to forget about all those big figures who basically inspire how we prepare food, eat, and even think That’s right, the Chefs!

Chefs are the people with such chef qualifications and skills that satisfy tummies with foods and providing a terrific moment of truth for all.

Chef Pieter Malan started his journey in the restaurant industry as a waiter at an early age of 12. His love for everything about the restaurant industry, its operation, the smile on a customer’s face was his biggest motivation in serving people. Seeing guests magical, emotions and expressions when experiencing my food, connects him to his guests and brings him great joy.

Chef Pieter studied at HTA School of Culinary Art in Johannesburg and did various apprenticeships with amazing chefs. For him, identifying mentors in the industry and allowing them to guide and shape him was his greatest joy.
